We start by getting to know your child through an assessment. We discover their strengths, challenges, routines, and what matters most to your family. Then, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) designs a personalized plan with goals and strategies based on your child’s unique needs. As we work together, we continually adjust the plan based on your child’s progress to make sure it stays effective and meaningful.
Parent-led ABA means you are not just on the sidelines. You are an essential part of the therapy process. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) work directly with you, coaching and supporting you to use ABA strategies in your everyday routines. We meet with you weekly (usually 1.5 to 2 hours) to review what’s working, solve challenges, and adjust strategies as your child grows. It is flexible, practical, and designed to help you support your child in real-life situations.
A behavior evaluation helps us gain a clear understanding of your child’s needs and strengths. The process typically includes a combination of parent interviews, direct observations, and standardized assessments. To prepare, you can gather any reports or notes from school, doctors, or therapists — but no special preparation is required. Just be ready to share your observations and goals for your child.
Yes. We support families in understanding their child’s IEP or 504 Plan. We can walk you through the goals, services, and accommodations, explain what the language means, and help you advocate for what your child needs. If you have concerns about how the plan is being followed or whether it fits your child’s current needs, we’re here to help you navigate that too.
Daily routines like getting ready in the morning, mealtimes, or bedtime can be tough, and we absolutely work on those. In-home ABA is especially helpful because we’re supporting your child right in the environment where these routines happen. This allows us to create practical strategies that fit your real life and help your child build independence and confidence.
It depends on your child’s age, needs, and goals, but we focus on practical, real-life skills that build independence. Common areas include brushing teeth, getting dressed, preparing simple meals, using the bathroom, picking up toys, following directions, managing transitions, and learning how to ask for help. Everything we work on is age-appropriate and personalized to your child. We’ll collaborate with you to choose the skills that matter most for your family.
ABA therapy can help your child build meaningful skills that support communication, independence, emotional regulation, and daily routines. With consistency and a personalized approach, children often make steady progress in areas like language, social interactions, behavior, and learning new tasks. Every child is different, but when families are involved and therapy is tailored to your child’s needs, ABA can lead to real, lasting improvements.
Yes, absolutely. Supporting parents is a key part of in-home, parent-led ABA. We work directly with you to coach, guide, and problem-solve together. You’ll learn practical strategies you can use in everyday life, and we’ll be there to support you every step of the way. When parents feel confident and supported, kids benefit too.
